I wanted to update you to say that Artie is doing very well. We feel like we hit the jackpot — he’s a great fit for our family. He’s very happy taking walks (he walks with my son to the bus stop each morning), he likes to be close by with the family and very content taking a nap on the sofa as my daughter watches TV before bed. I know he hasn’t always had the easiest life, but he is a very sweet and gentle dog and he’s been great with things like going to the potty outside and not barking inside. My daughter was just saying that it is hard to believe that we have only had him for a little over a week. Thank you so much for helping us find Artie

Hi all,

I wanted to give you an update on Teah. She was shy timd and slept a lot for about a day after we brought her home. Her and our other dog Rosco hit it off nicely. After the first day she perked up some and was playing with Rosco and they started takeing naps in the same bed. By Friday she was running around the house stealing toys and chews and haveing a grand old time. This weekend she was introduced to the dog park. She was very skiddish at first, but slowly started to play and socialize with the other dogs. My Wife and I could not be happier and have completely fallen for our new little girl.

I wanted to say thank you for bringing us together. Attached are a few pictures of Teah.

Thanks so much for all your help with Artie. I wanted to report that so far he is doing very well. We can see he is still a little timid and nervous with all the change — but he loves to stay close to my kids, getting outside, and he had a bath and haircut yesterday and looks like a new dog

Just wanted to give you the one week update on Cash. He is doing fantastic. He charms absolutely everyone he comes in contact with – he’s so mellow and so much fun. He is continuing to settle in well and is getting used to his snarky older sister

He loves his walks and playing out back – we are still walking them separately – sometimes at the same time but mostly on their own. Everyone needs some ‘me time’ after all.

The vet was so impressed with him and how well cared for he is – She had just seen another dog that was adopted from Forever Home Rescue but I can’t remember his name She said he was similar to Cash (we’re calling him Otis now, btw) but he had an underbite?? Sound familiar?

Today is his first day home alone – Greg put him in his crate around 8AM and i’ll be home at 2:15PM. Naya is at daycare today. I can’t wait to get home and see him. I know he’ll be fine but I’m supposed to worry a little bit, right? j/k

Anyway – Again thanks for everything! He sends doggy hugs and kisses to all of you!

- I’ve named him after a favourite childhood comic strip – RUPERT BEAR.

He’s doing very well – I adore him!

He’s already done trails at the Arboretum and Fresh Pond.
He’s been to the “spa” for a bath and tiny trim (I kept his curly head).
He barks at door bells and “pings” on TV game shows.
He eats well and LOVES other dogs.
He seems to LOVE ME!

I really am delighted.
